MEOWTH used PAYDAY!

When playing Pokémon games, I have always been fond of training Meowth, and it is almost entirely due to the fact that they can generate an infinite amount of cash. It might not mean much now, but when I was younger this was super important and a huge deal in the original games as there was a limited amount of trainers to battle and cash you could earn. You couldn’t replay battles, with the exception of the Elite Four, and as a player that was just awful for wanting to collect everything and be terrible at the game at the same time, it made having a Meowth essential. I’m a better player now, but if Meowth is available I will catch it and abuse Payday, the move exclusive to them.

I’ve been playing Pokémon Sun again recently, and I noticed that the animation looks like it straight up vomits money at the opponent. And so, here we are, the embodiment of every Meowth I have ever caught, spewing an endless amount money.

“Meowth! That’s right!”

I feel like I shouldn’t have to put this, however to ensure that everyone fully understands I state the following: this is fan parody art based on intellectual property owned by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. I do not own the character Meowth of any other character related to the series. This work is intended for entertainment and does not represent the work created as part of the Pokémon series. I have created and own this image, and as such if you wish to share this please feel free to do so and credit the original artist (Doododds) and/or provide a link to the original content.

Doodle

Cthulhu Tank

I recently joined in on a friends live stream on YouTube (check him out here!) and had a lot of fun, and through various exchanges we added a little depth to the character that he had created as Odd Gamer. It turns out, it is a Cthulhu worshipping, Octopus enthusiast that has married a tank. It kind of inspired me to doodle the below. The game Xenonauts did not really address this, but I think I made my character narrative pretty clear.

This doodle took a few hours, and originally I wanted to give the tank human legs, which would have been cool, but it was starting to take too long for my liking. As such, I settled on giving it robot camel style legs most associate with the AT-AT from Star Wars.

Enjoy!
